This is one of the most random, amazing, funny, ludicrous things I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

I’m really looking forward to this! Could it be the new LOST?
Programming note: tonight at 10/9c, Awake premieres on NBC.
The show is about a detective (Jason Isaacs, right) who has lost either his wife (Laura Allen) or his son (Dylan Minnette, left, who played David Shephard on LOST) — depending on which reality he is living in at the time.
It’s already available OnDemand and on Hulu, but if you haven’t yet watched, I strongly encourage you to tune in tonight. I’ve been waiting for a new Kyle Killen project ever since the critically-acclaimed but short-lived Lone Star was abruptly cancelled last fall, and Howard Gordon’s (24, Homeland) involvement bodes well for the show. I thought the pilot was very strong and can’t wait for more.
Damon agrees with me on this one: “AWAKE is one of the most imaginative and compelling pilots I have ever seen. Don’t know where it goes from there, but I will follow.”

NSFW! This is amazing! Just goes to show that there’s more to most genres of music as long as you’re happy to delve into it. DPs are sick! ‘Schooling’ the grime kids.

Funniest Youtube Video EVER?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1czBcnX1Ww
This video shows Boston Dynamics ‘Big Dog’ a walking robot that is being developed to carry equiptment for troops on the battlefield. It is an incredible piece of engineering.

This video is the ‘BETA’ version of the Big Dog. They take the idea of a MVP a little too far! And… it is literally one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I was very fortunate to rediscover it this evening and so it’s been posted to keep me entertained for eternity.

My mother made me a scientist without ever intending to. Every other Jewish mother in Brooklyn would ask her child after school, “So? Did you learn anything today?” But not my mother. “Izzy,” she would say, “did you ask a good question today?” That difference – asking good questions – made me become a scientist.
